Mick Surman Motorcycles was established over 50 years ago by founder Mick Surman, firstly as an engineering company which is what Mick did as an apprentice, later moving in to the motorcycle trade.
Mick was an accomplished motorcycle rider choosing motocross or scrambling as it was known in those days as his forte.
Mick's son Jonathan joined the business when he left school but also took the route of professional speedway and grass track rider competing at the very highest level in England. Today Jon still enjoys getting out on a Sunday to watch and sometimes take part in trials.
Working along side Jon is Gary, who has a passion for motorcycles ad was born with a twist gtip in his hand.
Then we have Kia, who deals with the front of the shop. She has a passion for motorcycles and will always have a smile waiting for you.
